Terms of Service

Effective September 5, 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the use of the Site Shorts service ("Service") provided by Project Team For You ("Company"), and the rights and obligations between the Company and users.

2. Definitions

  1. Service: a tool that automatically creates promotional videos from a website URL registered by the user, and all related features.
  2. User: a member who has agreed to these Terms and uses the Service.
  3. Video (credit): the unit consumed when one video is created. Each format (9:16, 16:9, 1:1) counts as one video.
  4. Plan: a monthly bundle of videos and features.

3. Effect and Changes

  1. These Terms take effect upon posting in the Service or notice by email.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law, with notice 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).
  3. Users who do not agree may stop using the Service and close their account. Continued use after notice constitutes agreement.

4. Registration

  1. Users register with an email and password. The Free plan applies immediately.
  2. The Company may refuse or cancel registration if another person's information is used, the account was previously suspended, or false information is provided.
  3. Persons under 14 may not register.

5. The Service

  1. The Company reads sentences, product information, and images from the website URL the user provides and creates a video. The Company does not invent content that is not on the site.
  2. Videos are rendered on the Company's servers or in the user's browser. Browser-rendered videos are stored only on the user's device and are not sent to the Company's servers.
  3. The Company may change or discontinue parts of the Service with prior notice.

6. Site Ownership Verification

  1. Users must create videos only from websites they own or are authorized to use.
  2. Videos created from unverified sites display the site's address.
  3. Users are responsible for copyright, likeness, and trademark disputes arising from videos made from third-party sites. The Company may restrict the video and account upon receiving a complaint.

7. Fees and Payment

  1. Plans and prices are as displayed in the Service. Prices include VAT.
  2. Paid plans are valid for 31 days from payment and renew automatically. Users may schedule cancellation at any time, effective at the next billing date.
  3. Payments are processed by PortOne (Korea) or PayPal (international).
  4. The Company displays the number of videos to be consumed before creation. Failed renders are not charged.
  5. Unused monthly videos do not carry over.

8. Withdrawal and Refunds

A full refund is available within 7 days of payment if no video has been created.

Once at least one video has been created, no refund is available. This corresponds to commencement of service under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 3–7 business days.

If the Service was unavailable due to the Company's fault, the affected period is refunded or extended regardless of the above.

9. User Obligations

  1. Users must not: create videos from third-party websites; create or distribute videos that violate advertising, medical device, or food labeling laws; make excessive automated requests; share API keys; or interfere with the Service.
  2. The Company automatically flags expressions that may violate advertising law, but this is advisory. Final responsibility rests with the user who distributes the video.

10. Intellectual Property

  1. Users own the videos they create. The Company does not use user videos beyond operating and improving the Service.
  2. Stock media follows the license of each provider (Pexels, Pixabay, Wikimedia Commons); attribution appears at the bottom of the video.
  3. Background music is either synthesized by the Company (no copyright) or by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) under CC BY 4.0, at the user's choice. For CC BY tracks, attribution is added automatically to the YouTube description on upload; when publishing elsewhere, the user must include attribution.
  4. The Service itself (software, interface, text) belongs to the Company.

11. Restrictions

  1. The Company may restrict use or suspend accounts without prior notice for violations of Section 9.
  2. Remaining videos on suspended accounts are not refunded.

12. Disclaimer

  1. The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure or failures of payment or cloud providers beyond its control.
  2. The Company is not liable for the content of user videos, business outcomes, or disputes with third parties.
  3. Automatically generated videos must be reviewed by the user before distribution. The Company does not guarantee accuracy.

13. Account Closure and Data

  1. Users may close their account at any time. Account data and server-stored videos are deleted 30 days after closure.
  2. Payment records are retained for 5 years as required by law.

14. Governing Law

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Disputes are subject to the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location.
